T.O.W.2 Importance of Blog Comments

Blog comments are important because it lets the world around us know whats on our mind, whats or view of things, and our thoughts behind it. Also I think blog comments let others interact in a way to maybe think differently about and opinion they may have had.

Commenting on blogs can also help us build our network in the things we strive for or are interested in. While a blog may seem like just a dairy of our day-to-day interactions, commenting on other peoples thoughts can help us learn as well.

Blogging isn’t just for personal use, businesses use blogs as well. When a business blogs it can create traffic for their company. Also when commenting it can help a business with feedback on what customers want and don’t want. Being an active blogger can help build relationships and better knowledge. For example, I think a good tip for commenting on other peoples blogs would be to be completely honest and thorough with your ideas and expressions of that comment.

Commenting on others blogs can also create a debate or maybe a blog comment within a blog comment. Meaning you may have a title that says, “What is public relations have to do with the media?” and after a couple of comments it may turn into a question like, “How can one make public relations positive or negative for the media?”

When people comment on my blog or I comment on theirs I think as being an author or commenter it helps me both ways. I can see what other people think in their mind about my thoughts and it can also help me become more aware of certain topics I may not of thought of before.

In conclusion commenting on blogs is extremely important. It helps you get involved and understand other peoples perspectives. Blog comments help the author broaden their thoughts as well as see another side of a situation.–why-bloggers-and-business-comment-on-blogs

I agree with many of the points you have made about commenting on blogs. While I have not been using a blog for long, I too believe it is a great way to connect with people. Commenting does allow you to network and view other people’s ideas on certain topics. I found the information interesting you gave about businesses using blogs. I would love to see some examples or links where I can find some businesses that have blogged with their customers. This post has encouraged me to do future research on how businesses are affected by blogging, not only with customers, but also with employees.

I agree with many of your points about blogging. I have never used blogging up until this class, however, I do believe that it can further my public relations connections with people and create a broader educational experience to users. I agree that blog comments are useful tools provided for the author to check their work and have an outsider’s opinion and I find the whole blogging process very interesting. Since blogging is new to me, I am reassured from reading this post that I will enjoy it and that it will help me in the future. I found the business trafficking to be very interesting and would like to see some examples of how this occurs and some examples of which businesses use blogging.

I feel like a lot of people have the same mind set when it comes to commenting on people’s blogs. I like how one aspect you focused on was how the comments can help you. I always think of it as just a way to interact more on your blog, but the fact that we can actually learn from other people’s comments is so true. I definitely helps us see other sides, or opinions, of our society. I have also seen how blogging is such an essential part of the business world. It realy helps them to connect to others and get their organization out there to the public.
