Chapter 15: Radio, Television, and the Web

In the United States there are more than 13,000 radio stations and more than 800 television stations.

A B-Roll includes additional interviews, soundbites, and file footage.

A public relations tactic for radio is the radio media tour (RMT). a major selling point of the RMT is its low cost and the convienence of giving short numerous interviews from one central location.

Broadcasting and its various forms, which now include Webcasting, are important because they reach the vast majority of the American publi on a daily basis.
